Third Sector Interface
Third Sector Interface Western Isles
There are 32 Third Sector Interfaces (TSIs) across Scotland that provide a single point of access for support and advice for the third sector within each local authority area.
The TSI Western Isles is a partnership between Volunteering Hebrides, Outer Hebrides Social Economic Partnership (OHSEP), the Volunteer Centre Western Isles, Harris Voluntary Services, Uist Council of Voluntary Organisations, and Voluntary Action Barra & Vatersay.
The Government provides funding to the TSI-WI to deliver the following services across the Western Isles:
- volunteering development
- social enterprise development
- supporting and developing a strong third sector
- building the third sector relationship with community planning
Officers from the TSI –WI seek to represent the interests of the third sector across the Western Isles at all levels of the Health & Social Care Integration Joint Board and the Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership
If you would like to know more about volunteering, setting up and running a third sector organisation or using social enterprise as a model to deliver social good, please contact the TSI-WI through their website here.
